Upper Arm Aesthetics

The characteristic features of aging upper arms, especially in patients who lose a lot of weight, are skin wrinkles and sagging skin with fat. When the arms are lifted to the sides, there is a significant sagging of the curved skin and adipose tissue. This sagging may also include the armpit and in very advanced cases, it may be accompanied by sagging on the side of the trunk. Surgical treatment of this condition is not a simple and minor procedure. The surgery is performed from the back-inner part of the arm and the sagging skin and adipose tissue are removed. In necessary patients, liposuction can be added to the surgery. Surgical treatment of sagging in the arm is not a true arm lift. The aim here is not to raise the tissues towards the armpit, but to remove the sagging tissues.
