Ideal and Healthy Weight

Today, the idealized notion of beauty and body on social media can put pressure on many women. Sanctifying being thin and equating thinness with worth is a very wrong idea; but likewise, being overweight is nothing to admire or boast about.

Scientific research says what really matters is a lifestyle that supports your health, along with good blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and hormone levels. These are far more important criteria than weight or body mass index alone.

Unfortunately, being very thin, like being overweight, brings many health problems. Obesity, for example, can cause insulin resistance, diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, cholesterol problems, gallbladder diseases, some cancers, fatty liver and breathing difficulty.

Balanced and nutritious eating habits (not restrictive), plenty of water, regular sleep, regular exercise and staying away from stress will help give you a healthy life.
